Mr. Duffy Speaks

I received these words from Mr. Duffy several weeks ago. I had forgotten them. Here they are.
As the dust clears and the ringing in our ears fades after the monumental recording effort, thoughts turn to external things.

Kelley Stoltz has been making records at home with a reel to reel 8 track for some time now. His latest, Beneath the Branches is a woozy psychedelic set of neat songs with echoes of Ray Davies, Brian Wilson, and the Beatles. It’s a fantastic set of songs and if you like tunes and a bit of psychedelia then you should buy it. In other news I am surprised and upset to find that I havent been listening to The Secret Machines. Heard their new single 'Alone, Jealous, and Stoned' and I am in love with it…Cosmic American Krautrock. Which is a very good idea. I like the guitars, I like the drums I like the bass I like the keyboards and his voice is perfect for the context. I like it a lot. Really nice pacing and dynamic range. Oohhh I could go on. But I won't.

Booklets

The E.P. booklets will be ready soon. The printer said, and I quote:
"There was so much black in the design that we had to change the settings on our machine. It's on the lowest it'll go!"
NONE MORE BLACK, as Mr. Duffy is fond of saying. The 3"-high Pavilion and Dome Set (Collector's Edition) will also be available for purchase on Thursday.
